The purpose of these blocks is to teach children to visually compare and recognize the size of objects. They support the development of fine and gross motor skills, movement coordination, concentration, visual memory, and spatial orientation.
This simplified version of the classic Montessori material includes four blocks, each designed to develop a specific skill:

Block 1 — height variation;

Block 2 — diameter variation;

Block 3 — height and diameter, with the largest diameter as the tallest;

Block 4 — height and diameter, with the largest diameter as the shortest cylinder.
Start with just one block. Working with cylinders helps children grasp concepts like big–small, thin–thick, wide–narrow, tall–short, tallest–shortest.
Ideal for home use, especially for children not attending a Montessori center or preschool.
