The sensory play set

At about the age of 2.5 - 3.5 years, all children have a period of interest in small objects (sensitive period). It is important for the child to manipulate with small pieces. Great for engaging children’s minds through the senses and play based learning.

This is a sensory bin tool set for Montessori sensory play comprised of three different scoops, a set of bamboo tongs and two same size bowls.

Scoops are perfect size for little hands.

There are so many ways you can use this set, all you have to do is decide which materials and textures to fill with! The choices are limitless, idea’s include: rice, beans, lentils, dried chickpeas, coloured pasta, popcorn kernels, flour, oats, cereal, or sand and glitter. Change the sensory materials and you create a whole new learning venture, to be used over and over again.
